Dodge WC51/WC52 Seat Tall to Short Change Period?

Does anyone know when the tall seats were stopped and replaced with the armless version?

Late 43. Change made mid 43 and full production late 43. You know there are two high arms and one short type.

Yes! I bought the set when they came out, hard to find now. I answered a lot of questions but my eyeballs were not seeing anything on seat variances.

Thanks for letting me know and now I 'll have to go back and find that. No I was not just looking at the pictures...lol.

I know how it is; I read mine every other day. On the odd days, I read TMs and SNLs.
I'll look up the seat pages and let you know.

I looked back through the 3/4 ton section today and still nothing. Maybe its in the 1ton section?

After 5-6 hours on Sunday, my brain was full and quit on me.

Pages 157-172 gives all the info about the different bed generations.
In the Tankograd book on the WC62/3 he tells about the seat introduction dates. I assume the changes were made on both vehicles at once. Same vehicle except for the bed.
