an original one but disappeared compared to a spare widely sold by French dealers as a "second type".

is the thin one mechanically valid? why this size now?

The thin one does not have the same number of teeth, it looks like to me.

The thin one has the same number of teeth...146. I was told that the wider ones were WW2 and the thinner ones post war production up until the 1970's.
