tire equivalent for the 900-16

Hello all, first time I have been to this forum. I just got a 1953 M37, and was wondering if the 235/75/16 tire size is compatibly for this unit? It currently has the 900-16 mounted on it. Thanks for any info. I normally view the 151 forum.

You will likely find the rim on the Dodge is too wide for the tire to seat properly, that and the fact it has split rims means a tire shop won't likely touch it.
A lot of M37's were running the surplus LAV wheels from memory, you might look up their size. (over on Steel Soldiers would be the best resource for the answer I bet)
Are you just wanting a tire to roll it around on, or are you considering not buying a set of 9:00 x 16's that it came with for some custom reason?

And before it's asked, the M151 jeep tire will not fit it even though it's 16". A 7:50 on a 9:00 series split rim is a non starter except for someone wanting to end it all quickly.

I was hoping to find a set of AT tires to run around my area. if I could find a set of 900-16 here locally I would look into getting them, but to ship a set to me would cost more to ship the the cost of the tire.
