Hello,
Here is a wonderful Memorial Day Tribute from a Phillipina girl about the crucial Battle for Leyte. Well worth watching it all !!
The Phillipines were a US Territory during WW2, and the People who live there were saved from a terrible Japanese military force that was holding the country.
The USA and MacArthur knew to keep our word to the wonderful people there and we liberated their country and our territory.
At least they remember !!!!
