Re: wtb 215 engine
Very hard to find
If you get an early T214, you can change the stamping
The part number for the blocks is the same for T215 and early T214s

Re: wtb 215 engine
I'm interested in the engine if original poster takes a pass. Would you trade engine for engine? Got a D11 in my 1941 WC-21.

Re: wtb 215 engine
In California, most of the vehicles up to about the early 60’s were registered using the Engine Number of the vehicle. My WC 1/2 ton had the T-211 block replaced in 1957 with a Dodge Factory motor and they used that motor number as the VIN #. When I went to replace it with a new motor I had to go to the CHP and have them re-register the truck using the Frame and Glove box door plate serial number. Be aware of that when changing motors and re-stamping them. The CHP is usually pretty lenient with our old military trucks. At least that is what the CHP Officer I dealt with said. Just giving people a heads up as far as Calif. is concerned.
