Power Wagon Carryall NEW PRICE

Post by johnnybravo » Wed Aug 29, 2012 8:08 pm

I am in the process of obtaining this machine. I plan to make an open cab truck and will have some excess parts from carryall body (not much as you can see). PM me and I check for items useable/available.

That looks like a very savable body. I know you cold easily trade it for an open cab

I have a friend who bought a Carryall in way worse shape. I went to look at it and told him that it was too far out of my skill level. The rust was too bad. He traded the body for a closed cab and bed parts. When it came time to sell the truck, several guys came by with technical information, checked the serial number of the frame and walked away. Upon discovering that it was in fact a Carryall frame and a not closed cab frame, they said the value of the truck was negatively impacted by the incorrect installation of closed cab parts on the frame.

If you want an open cab, buy one and leave the Carryall to be restored! Not many left and this looks like a good restoration candidate. It will be worth far more as a Carryall.

In my heart I do not want to make into something other than what it is. I guess my best option is to sell it but I have no idea how to value. Is there someone here I can communicate with to help establish a fair market value. I have more photos and I think it has the OEM motor and drive line. The only thing I noticed missing in the engine compartment was the air cleaner. Radiator looked good....I will just post more pics here.

After speaking with a Dodge guy and having found an open cab, I would like to again reduce the price to $1975.00 (OBO), as is, where is, w/o title at this time. Prior owner is still looking for the title. I hope this will induce someone to save this wagon.
