Hello,
We all know it can be difficult to find a reliable jeep/car hauler.
Especially after a random internet research effort.
I wanted to share the results of my non-running jeep being picked up by a great trucking company
from South Florida !
I went through a truck broker here in Florida, that gave me the lowest quote.
Once I selected him ... he sent me, via email, a pick up contract order once he found a trucker.
He placed the pick up order request, and a trucker showed up with a commercial car - hauling semi truck,
2 days later.
The jeep was non running, no brakes, but had 4 decent tires that held air.
No loose parts.
The M38-A1 was picked up in Salt lake City, Utah and delivered to Central Florida at 7:30 am, 5 days later.
The total cost was $1,200.
( $100 broker fee via credit card once assigned, and then $1100 in cash to the trucker upon delivery.)
The seller met the trucker, at the time requested. The trucker had called a rollback (included in quote) to help load it, but it never showed. The seller helped him with a come along and loaded it right on.
The trucking company that actually picked it up :
In God's Hands Transport, LLC.
786-271-0379
Miami, Florida
I could not have been more pleased with the entire project.
Orlando, the trucker was highly experienced, with 30 years hauling cars,
and does the Southwest USA to Florida route.
(You can call direct to them.)
The truck broker was also from South Florida.
He was very professional, and I called him from finding his website.
He gave me a quote.

Also... just to check things out before I used the truck broker, to see if it was a better deal ...
I placed the jeep pick-up on U -Ship to see what they could come up with.
The lowest bid there was $400 higher than the random website broker quote !!!!
No Bueno !
So I called Southwest back, spoke to Mike Thompson, he had all my info and original quote handy in seconds after I called and placed the GO order with him.
I do not know any of the broker/shipping parties, but I was very satisfied, and my jeep arrived in perfect condition.
The trucker was happy, as not 1 drop of oil dripped onto the brand new BMW, below it on the rack
He was amazed at that, and is a first class fellow.
Best Regards,
Ray

Re: A Reliable Jeep Hauler !!
I just tried to contact"In God's Hands" and it seems they are no longer operating!
Anyone have a reliable hauler to refer from Southern California to the Midwest?
Also does a G503 fit on a modern car hauler fine? Just worried the wheel base is a bit narrow for the modern multi haulers.

Where are you wanting it hauled? I’ll be driving back from New York in a few weeks.JeepJer wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 11:06 amI just tried to contact"In God's Hands" and it seems they are no longer operating!
