Good Guy Report

Post by dpcd67 » Wed Oct 09, 2019 8:15 am

I should put this on the Tech forum since no one reads this one, but I want to say nice things about Signsup; Robert; he is a Scholar and a Gentleman for sure.
He and his son, who is also a very nice guy, went out of their way; and I mean way up into the hills and very curvy back roads of WV, to bring a jeep up to me. Thirty Four Miles off the Interstate does not sound like a big thing until you consider it takes over an hour to traverse it, one way. Hair pin turns, 50% grades up and down 3000 foot mountains, log trucks, etc, and cold rainy weather. But they prevailed in fine order.
They deserve an Army Achievement Medal.
It was not on their route, but they were kind enough to make the detour for me.
So, thanks, and have a safe trip back.
They are up in Michigan picking up a Weasel and a Packard Staff Car.
U. S. Army 28 years.

Hey That's a nice story to read. Lifts the spirits when someone does such a kind act. Lets lift a glass(or two) for those guys. :D
