Depends on what JXD you are talking about. WW2 engine from Scout Car (early or late), M8 or M20, or out of a searchlight. Some can be hard to find, so give us a complete picture of the engine, both sides, that would help a lot.

I used to have one of these monsters! Like 1000 pounds and 90 neck snapping horse power! IIRC mine was a magneto ignition but I don't know what it was in.....or on.

Search light is basically a generator. This engine is different than what a scout car or M8/M20 uses, wrong carburetor, intake/exhaust, don't think the military vehicles used a governor, for sure scout cars did not. This style is is like the later engines, this looks a lot like the engine from a Hyster Loader. Not a lot of parts on this engine that will cross. Value would be to how bad a person needed this particular engine. You don't see many JXD engines come up for sale very often so it is hard to say what the value might be. Being a runner will help.
