Hello,

That is a great deal indeed, and will take offers as well.

However, that truck is a 1945, but that cab certainly is not 1945 , and I don't know if it is from a CCKW
or not with that roof line seam.

Maybe a civilian one, or something ?

I hope someone can save it.

Good eye Ray.

A Dodge military cab has been skillfully adapted to what was probably an open cab GMC.

You guys are correct. I thought something was "off" with the looks of the cab, but I just couldn't put my finger on it. Now that I have looked at the cab again, I see that the windshield frame comes apart at the vertical sides. Jimmy's come apart at the division bar. Plus the doors have wing windows too.

I noticed the seam on the cab as well but did not think of the Dodge possibility. Sure enough, wing windows. Cab fits real nice-kind of like the M6 bomb truck in Boise with the Federal cab.
Nice flat bed for someone's farm truck. Wondering if the bed on the bed is from the Dodge that donated the cab?
Makes my head hurt just thinking about the battle to get a title generated for this one!

I am a glutton for punishment! Just bought this rig! My buddy needs a dodge cab and I have a good Chevy cab! Seems to make sense, now I need to figure out how to drag it home! It’s been sitting for 30 years!! Dry California valley so it’s in good shape!

Hello Whitey41,

Congratulations on saving this wonderful truck !
It is worth the asking price, and you could put a closed cab on it, or an open cab if you can find one.
This truck had an open cab, but can be changed to a closed one.

They are sweet trucks !!

Best Regards,
Ray
