Manuals for military forklift

Post by wdbtchrm51 » Tue Nov 21, 2006 8:35 am

I bought a military rough terrain forklift and I can't find any manuals for it. It is a model DTC 8606 4000# 4X4 rough terrain forklift manufactured by Entwistle for the Marine Corps. Tried all the usual sources with no joy. Anybody help?

let me know if you need maintanence parts. i bought a lot of military surplus vehicle parts but it all seems to be forklift maint. parts. belts, hoses, hydraulic lines, seats, brakes, starters, alternators, etc. everything NOS.

I could use a seat for sure, don't know what else until I get it started.(Fingers crossed) Let me know cost and shipping to St. Louis, MO. Do you have any winches?

I did finally hear from Entwistle(after trying to contact them for over 6 months) they're supposed to send me a set of manuals for $100.

Post by DDTrustee » Sun Feb 18, 2007 12:05 pm

For the Marine Corps fork lift, I need:
Brake master cylinder
plastic spool for tree that holds the hoses up when going up and down
cover for air cleaner
air filter
lift cylinder repair kit
side shift and tilt cylinder repair kits

What do you have?? Interested in a few spares to keep my machine working in good shape.
Thanks

:D Good news! I finally got my manuals from Entwistle. Two large loose leaf notebooks, so if you need something looked up let me know.
