Deep Bronze Green Paint Question

Post by Buggy Man » Wed Apr 21, 2021 4:06 pm

I originally painted my ferret Mk.1/2 in a desert yellow with the intention of overspraying a flat green camo pattern over it. Problem is that I see a lot of other ferrets finished up in that type of pattern. So I thought I'd go with the earlier glossy Deep Bronze Green (non camo) paint scheme. Does anyone here in the hive mind know the paint code (FSN maybe?) for DBG so that I could have some mixed up by the local paint shop? Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Matt

Hi Matt, it is the same colour as used on Series 1, 2 and 3 LandRovers. I have found a link to a site (in Dutch) that gives colour codes for DBG (BS381c 224) that may be of use to you. Otherwise it may give you a starting point to Google. Best of luck!

My Ferret was camo but I needed some bronze green paint for the radio mounts etc. I had some paint mixed up at NAPA by asking them to match 1960's era Land Rover bronze green. Perfect match. It looks funky in the can, but mixed and applied its tops! Bob
