Dingo Storage Compartments
I'm presently looking at acquiring a Mk. 3 Dingo, which I would call a partial restoration. It's running, but needs a lot of work to make it historically accurate. The first major hurdle is that it is missing EVERY external storage compartment (as well as internal, but that can wait). I haven't committed to anything yet, so I'm really just looking into feasibility at this point. Does anyone know of anyplace where these can be purchased? (Not likely.) Or has anyone had any made up previously and has detailed plans/measurements? And if anyone has had them made before, roughly how much money am I looking at sinking into these?

Re: Dingo Storage Compartments
Everyone can stop furiously typing out responses now. I ended up buying another Dingo which has all of its storage compartments, so I no longer need to have those made. I do need to make a roof for it, though...

Re: Dingo Storage Compartments
From what I understand those are pretty rare in the US so not much of us know anything about them. It is a praiseworthy project given the lack of parts and info. Post some images of what you purchased when you get a chance.

Re: Dingo Storage Compartments
My old dingo had a roof, the other two had the canvas roofs, there are a few making parts in the UK for this, if you still want one, let me know.

Re: Dingo Storage Compartments
While us Yanks know what a dingo is, I personally had never heard of an MV model known as a "Dingo" so when I read the title of the post, I thought it had something to do with the transportation or housing of....a dingo. Kinda like this one:

Be careful, don't let the dingo eat your baby!
