Still silence from MVPA on my order. They charged my credit card already so I guess I'm stuck for now.

Re: GPW Restoration Standards
Hi Folks,
THANKS for the comments on the GPW restoration Standards
I'm going to the MVPA HQ tomorrow to sign all the hardbound copies that they just received. They will be ready to ship out starting Thursday. If you want one you can order it now thru the MVPA website.
Additionally, the second printing of the soft bound version is also ready for shipping!
Again, thanks for all the positive comments. The "Brain Trust" and I really tried to make this a quality book, and I like to think we succeded!!!

Re: GPW Restoration Standards
Ok, mine arrived just now. NOT what I expected; it is 1000% better!!! First, it comes in a Medium size flat rate box, and weighs like 4 pounds. It is HEAVY. It is FULL of color pictures on each page, and on heavy glossy paper.
First rate, top quality.
Everyone needs one whether they own a GPW or not.
Wow, I guess I am impressed with it; Kudos who the guys who wrote it and published it.

You make me drool ... but it would be unaffordable to have this book shipped to Europe ...About 130 €.dpcd67 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 2:04 pmOk, mine arrived just now. Trying to have it shipped to Australia and pick it up over there by the end of the year, when I will discover my last grandson born in May
A good lecture to kill time during the return flight

Re: GPW Restoration Standards
Hi Yves,
Dave
Hopefully by the end of September some books will be in England A guy called Mark Askew, who sells Jeep books and other military books here, will be getting some. He sells on Ebay, no shop anymore. He hasn't come up with a price yet, but I am sure it will be cheaper than the other qoutes.
