American Central Company manufactured about Jul 1942. Composite.
Serial # 58790
Original tailgate
2 toeboards ( new, repro)
With 4 grab handles, tool box lids, and gas tank sump is new, repro.

That's a deal of a lifetime for a solid, complete tub. I paid well over double that for a tub in slightly better condition back in 2013. Good luck with the sale!

Based on the information that was listed by the seller this body is like he said. About July 1942. It is not a Ford tub it is an ACM Type 1, serial # 58790 and it is not a Script.

Thank you. The seller listing it as a gpw tub and then describing it as an acm tub was confusing. I thought Ford did not employ acm bodies until 1943 as per the generally accepted chart of body type differences.

Tub is an AMC, Type 1
However it has GPW toolbox lids and came off a GPW.
Not a script.
