I would say try to find a buyer to restore it. Keep em rolling as much as possible. They are getting harder to find.

Save her, I have a frame that you could put under her, and an engine gpw 84xxx you can put in her. Would just have to source a body. Think there is one for sale on this forum, maybe from the owner of this jeep.

Adam

Thanks for the information on your GPW frame and engine. That is a nice package to facilitate restoring this GPW.

I am also selling a restored/repaired GPW body on this forum. It was my intent to use that GPW body for this restoration, but elected to sell separately vice together with the GPW. I also have other GPW/MB parts that I will offer to the buyer such as fenders and hood.

Hello,

That is great news !
I hope it can be restored, the frame would be an interesting repair.
The body can be restored, just takes a passion and time and effort.

Maybe the can owner can post it here, and what the plan of attack will be.

Your other body tub is in good hands now !!

Best Regards,
Ray
