WTB: Restored WWII MB or GPW

Post by garandshooter » Thu Apr 22, 2021 11:34 am

Testing the waters to see what’s available in Texas (or border states). I’m looking for a restored WWII jeep, no preference on GPW or MB. It doesn’t need to be all original, numbers matching, barnfind, etc. Just something I can drive around at local events. I work a lot and don’t have time (or space) to take on a project jeep.

Where are you? Do you have someone who can inspect a Jeep for you in other areas? What's your budget? Answering these questions will help people understand your wants/needs.

Hey there Sjalbert, I appreciate the comment.

To answer those questions:

1. I’m in Louisiana but travel back to various parts of Texas at least twice a month.

2. I do. I’m part of a museum group who has a large membership of jeep owners.

3. Budget isn’t an issue as long as price is right. I’m not caught on “numbers matching” or “factory original” just that it looks correct and runs well. This will be used a few times a year for our museum events.
