Too short a frame for me to consider it as a use for towing a jeep. Very little turning radius left or right IMHO. Looks nice as an accessory on a jeep though.

Howdy Jeffro, I manufacture these Tandem tow hitches. Your tow bar is missing the frame stabilizer bar and the wooden block.

If you want to see how these worked check it out on you tube under: WWII jeep tandem tow anti tank gun.

Tows just fine, you can put a lunnette on the back of a receiver hitch with about 6" -12"gained there, neutral on transfer, and I tie off the steering wheel (others don't) tow not recommended above 55mph, especially if you leave the top and windshield up.
Had a friend blow out a rear by going way to fast on a tow dolly once, it swallowed the pinion gear when the wrong nut (Nylock VS castellated) came off the driveshaft end.
Bottom line the towbar works fine for Civy vehicle to jeep towing, we tried with a tandum jeep to jeep setup towing a 57mm AT once and found you can crunch front fenders of the 2nd jeep if turning too tight (almost needed paint there  ...)
Great new price too.

I highly recommend a tow bar to anyone who has taken my engine tuning or rebuilding advice.
