Not familiar with the number designation. Are these the actual filter mounted on the firewall or a disposable insert?
Pics??

It’s the complete filter that mounts on firewall, canister with brass filter element.
Post war manufactured, same as WW2 type except completely gray.
PM me for pictures and info.

My filter arrived this week, and it was everything as advertised. I have already painted it OD and ordered decals from KW.
Loverly.

Photos have been updated
Bowl appears to be plated, however I need to strip paint from one to confirm.

Inside of the bowl is plated, not sure if outside of bowl.

The markings would vary from water applied to rubber stamped on the unpainted bowls. There were several different decals, some would be lettered different but they all meant the same.
Remember, there were nearly 600,000 Jeeps that used this Filter, 460,000 CCKW's, , all the Chev 4X4's and thousands of other misc applications such as some marine applications, there is no way to determine if the decal markings may have had variations at times.
Just having a clean corrosion free T-2 is a big plus. Plastic plugs started appearing on Post war parts during the 50's. One of the last big users of the AC-T-2 was the G-744 5 Ton 6X6 of the 50's-60's.

Ben thanks for sharing that information. Corrosion is an issue in the northeast where I live, especially in late winter with wide temperature changes.
