MB and GPW motors FS at MVPA Convention

I’m thinking about bringing a couple g503 engines to sell a the MVPA Convention in a couple of weeks. This would be a great opportunity to save on freight charges if you’re driving out. Going down my list of all my available engines I’ve sorted out a couple that I could part with:


#1: MB 496565 (Cast date 10-3 1944) w/matching 10/12 dated head. This came out of a low-time generator set. Comes with all internals, oil pump, oil pan, flywheel, water pump and cover plates. No visible cracks. Asking $2000

#2: GPW Replacement Block, March 10 1944 Cast Date (C 10 44 11)…this block was a GPW replacement block that has a post-factory GPW serial number (GPW-117945) stamped on the pad. No head, but comes with all internals, oil pump, flywheel, oil pan and cover plates. No visible cracks but the there is a broken starter bracket bolt that will need to be taken out. Partially disassembled. Asking $2200

I have many more spare g503 engines that are taking up room that I could bring also. I prefer to trade for engines and parts I need but may consider selling a few of those also. See my list in the Engine Exchange section if interested.
