6V autolite generator and starter

Post by cevensky » Sat Jan 12, 2019 3:37 pm

I have an unmolested but not mint 6V generator and starter here that were take offs from an immediately postwar reconditioned MB/GPW salad.

I have videos of the starter running if interested.

$100 for either, buyer pays shipping (USPS, probably $15ish). If you want the bolts with the generator (has all the correct hardware), extra $10.
All proceeds go directly to the car parts fund of a struggling student.

Last of the serial number is all I can read: 5101D
Does that sound right? You’ll have to tell me early or late I’m not up to snuff

Hey y’all, thanks for all the interest! Either a lot of people need these or I priced too low

I have the order in which you all have responded but they’re SPF.

The Autolite GEG-5101D was the late war generator for both the GPW and MB.

What are the other numbers (and letter) stamped on the serial number section on the tag?
