Identify this oil/kero jug

Post by leadfarmer » Wed Apr 06, 2022 3:12 pm

Bought this metal vessel today for $40. How did I do? More importantly, how and when was it used? A quick google showed the same one called an oil or kero jug so I figured I would post it here in the tool section.

Lead,

I haven't had time to research it but here are some photos of mine. Interestingly I paid exactly the same price for mine that you paid for yours. Mine is from a different manufacturer but otherwise appears to be identical to yours. When I posted mine years ago no one knew exactly what it was but someone suggested it was interwar. I suspect that since it is ORD that its ww2.

Whatever it is....its a cool piece.
