I had these on Ebay but no interest...
Uitica 1050 lineman pliers in the issue box...Utica spelled out on head in three diamond logog...no markings on the box that I see, but the rust stain of the cover matches up to the shape of the plier head (third pic)...
Period correct?
has Utica in the three diamonds on the inside of each handle...

According to alloy artifacts (grain of salt) the 3 diamond logo went away prior to the war. I posted some pictures in a thread here somewhere. I'll see if I can track it down.

Re: Utica Lineman pliers in box
I had some Utica adjustable wrenches with the 3 diamond logo that turned out to be postwar. I was a bit disappointed. That doesn’t mean that most tools with the 3 diamond logo aren’t prewar or wartime, I think they probably are. I suggest taking a look at the ‘39 and ‘56 catalogs available here.

Here's a pair of UTICA needle nose with side cutters that I found. Has the bonus USA martial mark. I assume them to be wartime.
EDIT to add this relevant post that I found from Wingnutt HERE.
