tools box ? identification HELP

hello , I found this box in my parts of my 1969 mutt m151 a1, I would like to know if this box is original for my Mutt? I do not think so..







I noticed as two electric cable clamps .. if someone thinks you are strong! thank you

I first thought of the M-100 trailer, which had a box mounted to the front for stowing the wire harness.



But, I don't think that's correct. Maybe off of a later model trailer? The M-416 trailer (1/4 ton) never had a box like this for the harness. I'm at a loss.
