44B8809 1/4 drive palm driver...?

1/4 drive yellow plastic grip palm driver
marked 44B8809
curious if the 44B is a US number or a random number for a civilian tool
yellow handle should clean up...just dirt..

It looks to me like a couple of 9/32” drive Duco spinners that I’ve had. I think that the number is just the model number, not government related.
