Fractional Caliper

Post by halifaxgroup » Sat May 08, 2021 6:54 am

Looking for some advice. Not sure where to post this or appropriate.

I am looking to buy a new 6 inch electronic caliper that has a fractional reading as well as decimal and metric. Prefer one not made in China. I have come up empty. Anyone have a caliper they would recommend? Thanks Paul

Hello
Type Mitutoyo Caliper in your giant online store. These are very good calipers Made in Japan.

Good luck with this search.

On a cursory search, I found this, which sounds like it'll do what you want:
https://www.amazon.com/General-Tools-14 ... B000UCIGCW $25 for a General brand.

Here's the Starrett site for electronic calipers, but I don't see anything that sounds like you're asking for:
https://www.starrett.com/category/11020 ... tBy=wp/asc

Here's the Mitutoyo site, but I don't see anything that sounds like you're asking for: https://ecatalog.mitutoyo.com/Calipers- ... &ps=12&p=0

McMaster was a bust, and I didn't look at Grainger.
