ISO Pyrene Fire Extinguisher...
Looking for Pyrene Company Fire Extinguisher Model C-21-T. and mounting bracket. They were the Heavy Vehicle Type and were standard equipment for the WWII Case SI AirBorne tractors. .
Any help would be appreciated.
I have already looked on ebay, etsy, and google.

Re: ISO Pyrene Fire Extinguisher...
Welcome to the forum!
I thought I might have been able to help you out, but the model number (B-2:C-2) on this one and the most recent patent 2,573,320 (1951) make this much newer than what you're looking for.
I don't have the bracket.
If you're interested in it as a place holder, let me know.
Good luck in your search. Maybe someone else will be able to help you out.

IDaman,
I happened to come across one locally. I can't read the type from the photo, but I can go back and take another photo
if you're interested. It looks almost identical to the photo you posted. The guy's asking $65 for it. What do you think ?

It's a curious thing. Guy says he's In Search Of (ISO) a thing. Hey, I found the thing you're ISO. ... ... ... ... ... crickets... ... ... ...
Oh, hey, it's me. I forgot that maybe I should PM someone in case they don't watch their stuff. Ok, so I'll just go ahead and... boom,
done, PM out. And... ... ... ... tumbleweeds... ... ... ??? Sigh. Why? Why do I even bother? I'm starting to think our friend really is
not in search of a pyrene fire extinguisher after all. Or at least it falls pretty low on the list of priorities. lol

It's all good, man. The tool forum can move pretty slow sometimes. The OP only has 1 post; this one. I'm sure after not receiving an immediate 'I got one you can have', he's moved on.
C'est la vie

Re: ISO Pyrene Fire Extinguisher...
Funny thing is when I picked it up and took the picture, I was thinking to myself, "Self ? This looks like it might belong on something Army ."
So I sent the picture to my brother who is wise to all things Army and he said in classic Oak Island style, "That's a significant find." Then I
happened upon our friends inquiry and I yelled, "JACKPOT! I KNEW IT! IT REALLY IS A SIGNIFICANT FIND!!" To which the Pastor said, "Hey! Down
in front!" But now I'm struggling with the idea that there's a guy out there that needs this... thing. And there's nothing I can do about getting
it to him tute suite. Your words are true and most appreciated. Thank you. I gotta relax ! lol

I was stuck on "Case Airborne Tractors."...I immediately thought of Dozers (getting old) and that only the Clark CA-1's were airborne, so now I'll have to look up the Case "Tractor" for fun.
(Have a CA-1 in the garage I've yet to finish...sigh)
