That is an interesting socket. You wouldn't think a socket would need a drawing but maybe the external dimensions were critical.

Interesting socket, perhaps a special steel for heavy duty use ?

Found these for information.

Greg, Unfortunately I have not found a manual for it and the picture came from some Tapatalk link but when I went into it it had no information. I will keep looking though.......

I am always keeping my eyes out for tank manuals as I like to try to identify the parts I find with the metal detector around the Scout Centre at the top of the hill were we live. The advantage of being a Scout Leader. The Canadians left lots of stuff lying around including live ammunition ! I think we had RAM tanks and Shermans, possibly some Churchills. You can see the chocks that go between the tracks in the picture, also some batteries and plenty of large ball bearings!

Unfortunately no additional information available - They were ' borrowed ' from a well known long standing UK based purveyor of military vehicles & parts who advertises on Milweb.

Those in the know might remember a certain Brazilian connection

However I have found these listed in TM 9-726 which might help ?

Thanks, Len!

I found installation instructions in the Track section and made this excerpt...
