Always good to have Don.

It's a bit like Plomb WF material, some items really common, others unobtainium.

A nice 8" screwdriver turned up on the auction site, still need matching 6" and 4 1/2" ones. The seller said it was BE stamped, but in the image it looks more like BC. Identical to the Catalogue image.

Very nice. I rarely run across those early Craftsman screwdrivers and they are never in that well preserved state.

Indeed Don. The screwdriver wasn't that expensive but postage and taxes were ridiculous, but given the condition ...

This is the first one I've seen for sale that matches the catalogue illustration exactly. Any thoughts on the stamping, BE or BC ?

Gordon,
It looks like BC to me and I don’t think that code has ever been positively identified as to who made the screwdriver.

Thanks Don. At least I’ll know the code to look for on the other two in the set. Gordon
