Pre WW2 1903 Springfield Company Repair kit

Hi Everyone

Here is my replica of a pre WW2 1903 Springfield Company repair kit, as issued to units not having access to the m1910 Arm Repair Chest.

The dimensions are taken from a surviving example but the tools are extrapolated from the published list of tools in 'Brophy's', and pictures of period tools also in the book. I have not been able to find a picture of a complete kit and even the one in Brophy is incomplete.

I'm not sure when the Kit was officially discontinued.

The punches are modern and the hammer needed a new handle, the brass hammer is to the dimensions listed in Brophy for a TAFX2 which also states "Comp to be made from scrap" so i assume it was made as such until the TAFX2A came along. The flat nosed pliers are probably the most accurate tool in there as they are Utica Tool, diamond logo.

Does anyone have a complete set or even an empty box that has the list of contents which were printed on paper under the lid, the box I copied had only a partially intact list. I'd love to get a photo of the list so I can remake it.
