Great find. Keep them apart from each other or they will multiply.
On the top, I think Home Depot or other home improvement stores sell a rock maple workbench top.
Other options if you can find them may be bowling alley lanes or hardwood floors from a tractor trailer.
Good luck getting the clear off and cleaning them up!

I recently acquired 2 of these 41-C-15 cabinets in not so great shape. I have found out the hard way they don’t come apart easily to fix all the dents and rust on it. I have all the rivets out but I can’t get the slides that the drawers slide on out. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. I tried to attach some photos but it said they were too large. I will see what I can do about posting some.

The WWII and immediate postwar variants do not have slide rails. The drawers are loose, slide in and out on a sheet steel support, and are easily removable. I am not sure when slide rails were incorporated. There are some guys on here who do have later postwar cabinets and they may be able to help.
