WWII Pioneer Tool Chest

Post by 17thAirborne » Tue Mar 24, 2020 5:14 pm

I have the empty chest that is labeled CHEST, TOOL, PIONEER and has a stenciled red E on it.

I was wondering if anyone has a reference with the list of contents, and perhaps an image of the label that might be affixed to the interior lid. I am hoping to begin collecting the contents for this kit to use in an Airborne Engineer Jeep display.

I'm guessing that the "E" refers to E Co. maybe.

That could very well be. Looking forward to filling it up...once I find out what's supposed to be in it that is.
