M32 Carb

Post by devilnutz » Wed May 20, 2020 5:20 pm

I am in need of a rebuild kit for a Solex M32 PBIC carborator. To my understanding this carb is off an M201, I have an M38. I have 2 questions for the 201 owners.
1. Is the m32 rebuild kit the same as ones I see online for a 32 PBIC or was the military different?
2. Is a marked M32 of use to those restoring an M201? I read that if it is marked with the m32 its an actual French carb. I could be wrong. But either way its not correct for an m38 so if its beneficial for someone with an original 201 I can part with it and buy an Omix.
