Hello Standa,

WoW :D :D :D !!!

That looks like an awesome time in the snow, driving around it your beautiful Jeep !
Plenty of snow on the ground this winter , it looks pretty cold too !
Tire chains too, looks like they would really help get traction in the deep snow.

You did such a nice restoration on your jeep, I hope I get mine done soon !

Thanks for posting the pictures,

Best Regards,
Ray

Hello Ray,

I'm enjoying it.
Especially when I'm thawing out at home with my tea

Chains help a lot. I need to buy two more for the rear wheels.
It's great fun, see the videos.

Great videos !
The jeep does really well in the snow !

Thanks for posting :D

I saw that new original type repro tire chains are available in the cloth bags bags in Europe, I may get a set when I am done, just to have them if needed.

Looks like great fun Standa !

Best Regards,
Ray

Hello Ray,

Riding in the snow is great fun
Yes it is possible to buy repro chains.
I chose this option. It is easy and quick to assemble.

I am already preparing for summer and ordered canvas windshield cover made by John & Mary Worthing.

Hello Standa,

Keep us posted on the repairs.
Can you describe what the issue is with the rear end ?
I looks like spider gears and shaft are worn out, from the videos, is the carrier housing ok ?

Ray

Hello Ray,

The problem was pin wear and a squeezed bushing.
It didn't manifest itself in any way. I found out by accident.
It had already been repaired during the French Army's repair.

I finally got it fixed.
Everything seems to be fine.

I've done about 60 km.

Hello Ray,

It's the start of the season for Jeeps.
I will add a photo. I hope just from riding and no repairs :D

There are never enough tools and jigs.
They will always be needed.
I bought a lot during the renovation.
Especially when I was fixing the differential.

It is a monument to Jan Háječek.
Czech partisan who was shot by German soldiers in 1944.
There are many such monuments around my home.
