Hi Folks,
I just bought a bucket of bolts MB serial#118650 DOD 2-16-42. The engine that was in it has casting # 635713 W1 N1-CR N2 on the lower block and serial # 37-16453 on the upper serial # space at the top. The head has # 634816 W1 cast in it. I think all this makes it a Willys engine, but it also has an up-draft Marvel Schebler carb on what appears to be the original intake and exhaust manifolds. Did any MB's ever have this type carb, if not what did this engine come out of? Or would this be the correct engine for this jeep if it had the correct manifolds and WO carb?
Thanks,
Billy
