Hi,
Searching around on the nett I found one Auto-Lite SPK 4001 speedometer with unusual bezel (http://www.vintagemilitarytrucks.com/19 ... arrier.htm) . Looks like it is original, but..... I need Your opinion.

It looks like a Type I Autolite speedo (like the Type I in the early slat grill jeeps) but it does appear to have a later Motometer style bezel on it. Maybe it was repaired at some point in time?

Sean, I have a slat speedo that needs much TLC. The numbers are mostly missing from the wheels and the needle is broken off on both ends (the pointer may be inside the housing which I can't get off). The rear part is still in the housing. Are you still rebuilding these?
