Jeep Oil Pressure Guge Mounting Hardware Question

Post by Jerry Hudgens » Thu Jan 26, 2023 1:37 pm

Does anybody know what hardware was used by the factory to mount the Jeep Oil Pressure Gauge?

Were wing nuts used or were standard hex nut used?

Were any washers used? If so, were split lock washers or tooth lock washers used?

If anybody knows, please reply.

Thanks

Jerry Hudgens

Per ORD 9 SNL G-503, page 109, the oil pressure gauge used 10-32 NF hex nuts and a #10 lock washer. Note: it shows in parentheses Willys only. Ford cout possibly be different although I doubt it.

Hey guys, I really appreciate your replies. I forgot that I had asked this question before and got good info. Getting old and can't remember stuff as well as I used to.

I wished I knew how to save this posting. When I used my XP computer, I could save the Jeep website postings and got a lot of extraneous stuff with it but at least I got the posting and the replies. With my new Windows 10 computer I do not know how to save the files. I tell you; Windows 10 has really screwed up the user interface and made everything overly complicated (in my opinion).

Thanks

Jerry
