Engine question

Post by Alexjerden18 » Mon Sep 19, 2022 11:34 am

Hello all I have a question about this engine block, I’m not sure if it is a cj2a or mb, if it is a mb what would the casting date be serial number (638632)W3 2-5 A-NI-CR-N2. Thank you all

not enough info,, it is both a ww2 casting number and an early cj2a casting number. so what is the serialnumber? on te oval behind oil canister or machining date on oil pan mouting surface on the block.
the 2-5 looks to be in the wrong embossment order, but could be the fifth of ??????? also no clock imprint? then before 46
