gpw 1943 dashboard switch layout

hi , new to the board we are in the process of renovating a 1943 march manufactured gpw im wondering if any dashboard switch layout experts can help to tell me if the original light switch we need is the push/pull type?? also didthe jeep have a floor engine starting button ???
on the dash at the moment on the far left is a push in buttonwhich im not sure if it was a add on by the previous owner??? any help would be great

Andy, I'll make you a trade.

Your GPW needs a pull-push light switch and a floor-button starter. The push-button on the left end of the dash is a Bubba add-on for a starter or a horn, not original. Edit: Well, I guess it could be for a siren, but that's doubtful, and should be labeled as such.

Now, what do I want in return? Please post the serial number of your GPW, the Date of Delivery, and the hood (USA) numbers if you have them. I am collecting info on GPW's near mine in DoD, 26 March 1943.
