Measured on a glass removed from a SW Speedometer that I have restored a while ago (viewtopic.php?t=247961)
3.490'inches or 88.7mm
Thickness 1/8'' or 3.2mm

It was the same size in the K-S speedometer.

With a thickness of 2mm, It's gone be easier to crimp the ring, but take care of using good gaskets.
Rubber seal on top of two cardboard gaskets will do the job.
In the past they were using asphalt :D

If you don't have a special equipment to crimp the bezel, do it like this :

Put the speedometer under pressure while gradually crimping the ring all around using a wooden stick. I use a bamboo stick :)!
Gradually increase the crimping angle.
It will be almost perfect
