Diver side mirror mount

Post by Jeepercreepers » Tue Apr 27, 2021 10:11 am

I have purchased a M38A1 recently that had no driver side mirror, so when I went to install a mirror I noticed that the flat mounting surface on the left side of the cowl is missing where the mirror attaches. All M38A1’s that I know of had a flat mounting pad for the mirror, my cowl is rounded like a CJ5. My M38A1 has all of the early M38A1 features with the exception of the flat mirror mounting surface. I do ‘t know if this is correct or some kind of Fraken Jeep mod done years ago by some Yahoo. Thanks.

Hi mate,

Might get a better response if you ask in the M38A1 board than the MB/GPW board.
