I found this posting. “New oil pump question February 24, 2013”. This explains the third galley hole in the block but no hole in the gasket, thank goodness!

No link to the post you found. ??
Three holes.
1. passage from the sump pick up to the pump inlet.
2. passage from the pump output to the block oil galley.
3. return port for oil by-passed by the pressure relief valve back to the sump.

I don’t know how to make the “link”, that is why I just copied the title and date in quotations. I will try again.

You use the link that looks like a "Chain" then post the URL in between it.
Here's the link and more importantly the post guts/photo.

That is an access hole for the drill bit that made the middle main bearing galley from main oil galley to the middle main bearing.
It is supposed to be blocked off with the oil pump.
You will not find a hole in the gasket either.

Well, she’s alive!! I was able to get out to the shop today and finish the last few little things. Went to start it and the engine was spinning over slow, but I was able to watch the oil gauge move up. But it wouldn’t fire off and then when I turned the ignition off, it popped through the muffler. I checked my timing and found out I put the distributor in 180* out so I just swapped the wires on the cap and tried again and she fires right off. The oil pressure sits right at around 35psi at idle (maybe a little less) with hot oil and goes right up to 45psi at a higher rpm. The engine has no knock!! It evens sounds nicer and smoother!! Thanks for all the help from everyone!!
