New CCKW Contact Points, 0.018" to 0.024". This is what the CCKW TM lists.
My CCKW runs excellent using this factory specification no matter the grade of gasoline.
I try to practice what I preach and maintain two M-37's, an M-38A1, a CCKW and MB according to the Army TM's just like the army does.
Once you get your MV in 100 % Military running condition, you will not suffer many of the Sundry problems that many MV's experience.

The Dwell angle in an L-134 engine with the IAD-4008 distributor is 42 degrees (°) or the equivalent Dwell Time is 47 percent (%)
Read this :The truth about the distributor DWELL angle in a Jeep (L-134 and F-134)
