GPW DRAWINGS DROPBOX LINKS EXPIRED TODAY, June 14th, 2018

As announced, I've removed the original Ford GPW drawings archives from my (full) Dropbox.
They can no longer be downloaded since today (LINK EXPIRED TODAY June 14th, 2018 )

For a limited amount of time, the files that were not included in a Dropbox archive can still be downloaded from my own server on www.avi-plus.com. The GPW drawings topic will be removed soon.
Sorry for the inconvenient. Nothing is permanent, even web sites and files...

I hope that enough G503 users had the time to download the high resolution files so that they will survive .(2072 users have visited my GPW drawings topic on avi-plus since 4 months.)
I've also given a DVD copy to my favorite Jeep parts shop owner, Philippe in Gerpinnes (BE)
https://www.philippejeep.com

I've requested to different jeep websites owners to give them the archives in order to host the files.
To no avail.
A sysop (French forum sosjeependetresse) has even declined arguing that I had not posted enough tips on his forum and that this were useless drawing files in bulk
I guess I was also supposed to organize the files for him.
It was shocking and I've immediately shutdown my account in that forum  :D

Yves,

I'm one of the 2072 people that took advantage of your very generous work. Thank you!! I wish I had more time to download and print more, but I was able to get everything that I felt was important to me. Thank you again for all your hard work!

Couldn’t Jon add these to the Jeepdraw site?

Yes of course, these drawings are not my property.
Jeepdraw would be a solution.
I've already suggested that earlier : https://forums.g503.com/viewtopic.php?f ... 5#p1695565
But I believe that the drawings sold on Jeepdraw are a source of revenue for Jon to finance the website charges, which I can fully understand. (I've also my own server running 24/7 since years)
And you are not allowed to sell the THF drawings.

These drawings should be hosted on MB/GPW specialized forums so that certain technical discussions would be based on facts rather than feelings  .
I will make a unique archive with all files and make it available for a last download on Sendspace or whatever prior to delete the topic on my server.
But the archive will be available for a limited amount of time, likely a few day's.

@JAB, Gary Thanks for your kind comments.

Here is a link to download the archive with the GP, GPA, GPT and GPW drawing files from the THF website in hi-res pdf format (A4, A3, A2, A1) (290Mb)
https://www.sendspace.com/file/18l6gd

The link will expire automatically in 30 day's from now. Sorry.

Close friends from Namur :D

Yes this is a strange behavior. I've no time to loose with such guys so I've immediately shutdown my account.
This is only the second time it happens to me since I'm active on the Internet, 1994.
The other bad experience was with the sysop of www.royalsignals.org.uk.

Sorry guys, I'm late to the party - just saw this thread on the Ford GPW drawings. Is there still a working site somewhere to access these?

Alternatively, if someone has the drawing for the front leaf springs and could send it to me, I'd appreciate it.
