I'm bringing this back to the top as I still don't have an answer to the tank with the dent with an in tank filter.

Does anyone have a Willys MB with a gas tank that has an in tank filter and dent?

I have a tank with the dent but no in tank filter - had it sometime and just started restoration on it. When was this variant introduced?
