Ok, it is a pity that it is not an original g503 switch light.
I will put in the box with other items for sale or trade.
Thanks.

I would use it anyway, as it is the correct shape and maybe Douglas switches are also OK for a G503 (I have one on my GPW, so it could be a Willys versus Ford thing). I have not checked this but the main light switch is also made by Douglas amongst other manufacturers. Just get a green knob for it. I checked in my "left overs" but the knobs I have are very damaged on the faces, otherwise you would be welcome to have them.
Just checked Jeepdraw and they say Douglas is for MB and Cole Hershee for GPW (for the BO Drive switch anyway)
See here: http://jeepdraw.com/PART_COLOURS.htm
Perhaps we have started another ongoing battle about which is (s)witch

Thanks that is a good thing. If Douglas was original for MB I think I can use it with the correct knob.
Thanks again
