Post by wc56daveyboy » Mon Oct 03, 2022 2:15 pm

ORIGINAL K-D #333 TRIFLEX-P

I’ve got two (2) near mint original
4 hole reflectors in RED

Bezel stamping as follows:

K-D #333 TRIFlEX-P

THE K-D LAMP COMPANY

CINCINNATI, OH

lenses appear to be plastic.

the word TOP printed on them
Then the words :
S.R. CO NO.14
On the bottom

Not a SPECK of rust
Solid throughout.

what are they used on?

Should be from a Converto dump trailer from what I have read. The reason I say that is parts of my numbers are illegible but should be the same as these. I'm interested if you are selling. Mine are pretty faded but can still see red. I'm sure someone will confirm this.ImageImageImageImageImage

The Converto was a piece of Corps of Engineers equipment, not Ordnance like say a Jeep or Ben Hur trailer. I say this because my welder trailer although appearing to be originally equipped with Guide A-2 reflectors does have in the manual K-D 333 are specified. Albeit they are 2-hole not 4-hole. So it would seem that KD reflectors appear on Engineer equipment?
