The fledgling WV Red Ball Express invites you to join us October 29th for a trail ride around Jefferson County, West Virginia. We begin by meeting up at 0900 at Black Dog Coffee off Rt. 9 in Shenandoah Junction then head for O'Hurley's General Store and Shepherdstown. After that it's around via back roads to the Shenandoah River upstream of the dam. Finishing in Charles Town at the Mountain View Diner for lunch. Ride route is roughly 40 miles and will take 3-4 hours. The Park and Ride lot in Ranson just off Rt. 9 has ample room for trailers and tow vehicles and is two miles from our starting point. Vintage Jeeps and historic military vehicles welcome. www.facebook.com/groups/wvredballexpress/

A reminder about this upcoming ride. One of our stops will be at O'Hurley's General Store in Shepherdstown https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/ohu ... eral-store
Also Yellow Mutt Designs has more of the Jeep stickers available that we started selling at the Mason Dixon Willys Jeep Gathering Sunday. Here's a seasonal bumper/windshield/dash sticker just for the occasion, along with one of her other designs.

Re: Jefferson County West Virginia (Harper's Ferry) Trail Ride
Yesterday was a great day for the WV Red Ball Express's first group event.
We started with coffee (or tea). I was riding in the lead Jeep with Merlin, here we are along River Road and the Potomac just downstream of Shepherdstown. Not many people know about this one lane underpass below a very old railroad right away. CSX is still active overhead. There's a sharp turn just before it on the other side and a convex mirror so you can look for oncoming traffic. Our stop at the Shenandoah river. The mixmaster CJ-3A/M-38 Dipping a toe into the water We also stopped at O'Hurley's General Store in Shepherdstown and did some shopping and made a stop at my land in Shepherdstown where drivers had a chance to get some glamour shots of their Jeeps in my hay field. I didn't get any pictures there as I was too busy answering questions. We finished up with lunch at the diner in Charles Town.

Nothing better than fall foliage, jeeps, and historic homes and farms !!
Keep up your good works, and I liked your other videos as well.

Thank! But Ray, just so you know that was may friend Mat Curtis who did those videos. He's another Mat but with only one T He puts together some great rides in Northern Virginia. This time I put it together but with help from him. Mat was also our Convoy follow vehicle so if we were getting a parade of modern cars behinds or there was an issue causing a break in the convoy he'd radio up to us at the front to pull over.70th Division wrote: ↑Mon Oct 31, 2022 3:12 pmHello Matt,
