Has next years event location been decided yet?

Or does that task fall on the members to decide at the prior convention meeting?

2023 48th Annual MVPAHA Convention will be June 15-17, 2023, in Des Moines, Iowa, at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

I guess conventions are no longer. Held in the South

Well.... hosting a convention is a lot of work for the local MVPA chapter. It takes commitment. I learned this from chatting with the last few groups that have hosted conventions.

My group in Upstate SC, we have issues just getting our own members together for meetings and events. Everyone is so busy or have other commitments. One of the members commented, we should host a convention in Greenville SC. When I mentioned the heavy local MVPA volunteer needs and all the work, they changed their mind.

The Alabama group hosted one, said it was a ton of work. The Florida group might could pull it off.
