Last year, Ron's first open house, was fantastic.
Big turn out. Lots of stuff for sale.
Many vendors.
Ron is a great host. Very worth while.

To all,

Yeah !

I stopped in and talked to Ron this morning. Ron gave me permission to bring my 1945 Willys CJ 2A (Rustee) to this gala event. Yeah, it ain't no show winner, but has the original faded paint and other than the Roll Bar (the previous owner installed prior to going over the Rubicon twice in it), it is pretty much stock. A couple of years ago, my immediate supervisor and I took Rustee on a local Back to the Fifties cruise in Grants Pass, OR. We were really styling with our under dash IH radio/ tape deck. We had a great time and after the cruise, we each had to have an ice cream cone to celebrate.

The only bummer was the High Dollar rigs that snub their noses at Rustee. But Rustee will probably outlast many of them anyway.

If you can, please attend this event, it is worth the effort.

Thank You Ron for hosting this event !

I will attend if only to pay homage to RUSTY(and enjoy some RFJP hospitality) and his bravery :D
I believe RUSTY lived next to a beautiful GTO and never even threatened any harm.................

Joe,

Went out this afternoon and had a wee bit of concern about Rustee. Well, Rustee started right up and ran well. Had to use a squirt of go juice for her to fire up. As she has been sitting awhile, I wanted her to start without using the fuel in the tank. After she fired off, everything was fine. Told her about going to Ron's in a couple of months, but got no reply back, just her purring along instead.

Hopefully in May she will be ready for the big adventure once more to head to Ron's place.

Have a good week,

We're just two months out folks! Make sure you RSVP Ron. Bring your parts, equipment, field gear or just yourself! Be there or be square!

I got a kick out of looking over Rusty. My buddy Jim thought it really cool. Thank you and all for attending!

Next year, the plan is a two day event. We want to see 500 people!

Great to see old friends and meet new ones. Some really cool stuff at the vendor tables. Thanks to Ron and the RFJP crew for the great time. Thanks for inviting Zelda to come down, she likes to get out of the barn!
